2. Data Collection & Usage

The Extension accesses specific data solely to provide its core functionality:

• Advertising Data: The extension fetches performance metrics (e.g., conversions, clicks, cost) from the TikTok Ads Manager website you are logged into. This data is stored locally in your browser's chrome.storage.local area to display history logs and charts.
• Authentication Tokens: The extension temporarily reads cookies/tokens required to make API requests to TikTok on your behalf. These tokens are stored in memory or local storage and are never transmitted to the developer or any third party.

3. Permissions Explained

We request the minimum permissions required for operation:

• storage: Used to save your user settings (e.g., voice volume, alarm thresholds) and local data history.
• alarms: Used to schedule background tasks for periodic data fetching.
• tts (Text-to-Speech): Used to generate voice alerts when new conversions or data changes are detected.
• scripting & activeTab: Used to communicate with the open TikTok Ads Manager tab to ensure the session is active.
• host_permissions (ads.tiktok.com): Required to fetch statistics from the TikTok API.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

We DO NOT share any data with third parties.

The Extension communicates directly with TikTok's official servers (ads.tiktok.com) to retrieve your data. Please refer to TikTok's privacy policy regarding their data handling.
